BPEA Adult High School empowers lifelong learners to rewrite their futures. We provide streamlined, flexible pathways to high school completion and career advancement.
- Serves students 18 years old and older who have not graduated or have no high school experience.

Our goal is to help adult learners complete their high school diploma while developing the skills, habits, and knowledge needed to succeed in higher education, advance in the workforce, overcome personal and professional obstacles, and contribute positively to their communities. Whether you're balancing work, family, or other responsibilities, we provide a one student at a time approach within a supportive network of staff, fellow adult learners, and community partners.

Big Picture Adult High School is a program where adult learners can finish their diploma requirements while pursuing their personal and career interests, all while meeting state academic standards and requirements. Our philosophy is that we are "Proudly Unlike Other Schools." At BPEA, adult students work with a dedicated Advisor and have a personalized learning plan that gives you the flexibility to move at a pace that fits your life. The result is a student-centered learning design built for adults ready to finish what they started, supported by a community of educators, professionals, and mentors invested in your success.
Graduation Requirements:
BPEA offers a streamlined, 170 credit unit pathway to earn a High School Diploma through our Adult High School Program.
Our graduation requirements meet the California State minimum standards in effect at the time of each student's enrollment, along with additional academic and elective requirements. Students who are unable to graduate within two years due to credit deficiency may be offered an alternative pathway to graduation, as outlined in Education Code 51225.3. Additionally, some students may choose to attend BPEA specifically to strengthen their English/Language Arts and math skills, improving their employability and preparing them for post-secondary opportunities such as community college or a career college.
